Parmesan
Spaghetti Carbonara is a classic Italian dish from Rome, traditionally composed of spaghetti, eggs, cheese, and cured pork. It’s a simple yet delicious meal that is sure to please any crowd. To make a perfect Carbonara, you’ll need the following ingredients: spaghetti, eggs, Parmesan cheese, pancetta, and salt.
Begin by boiling the spaghetti in a pot of salted water. Once the noodles are cooked, reserve some of the pasta water before draining the spaghetti.
Meanwhile, heat a skillet over medium heat and add the pancetta. Cook until the pancetta is lightly browned and crispy.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, Parmesan cheese, and some of the reserved pasta water.
Add the spaghetti to the skillet with pancetta and stir in the egg mixture. Stir continuously until the egg mixture is fully incorporated.
Taste and season with salt, if needed. Serve the Carbonara immediately, topped with additional Parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
