First, you’ll need to prepare the fish. You’ll need a filet of your favorite white fish, such as tilapia or cod. Rinse it off and pat it dry with a paper towel. Place the fish on a cutting board and season it with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Next, you’ll want to create a flavorful mixture for the fish. Take a few cloves of garlic and mince them finely. In a small bowl, combine the garlic with a tablespoon of olive oil, a tablespoon of lemon juice, and a handful of fresh herbs such as parsley, thyme, and rosemary. Give the mixture a good stir and set it aside.

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of butter. Once the butter is melted, place the filet of fish in the skillet and spoon the herb mixture over it. Cook the fish for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
