Ingredients:
* 2 ½ cups Cake Flour
* 1 ½ cups Granulated Sugar
* 4 tsp Baking Powder
* ¾ tsp Salt
* 1 ½ cup Milk
* 1 cup Unsalted Butter, at room temperature
* 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
* 5 Egg Whites, room temperature

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and flour two 8-inch round cake pans.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cake flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

3. In a separate bowl, mix together the milk and butter until combined.

4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

5. In a separate bowl, using an electric mixer, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.

6. Gently fold the egg whites into the batter until combined.

7. Divide the batter evenly between the two prepared cake pans.
