In a large bowl, mix together 2 cups (250 g) of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and ½ teaspoon of salt.
In another bowl, cream together 1 cup (225 g) of softened butter and 1 ¼ cups (250 g) of sugar until light and fluffy.
