To start, you’ll need the following ingredients: 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1 cup of unsalted butter (room temperature), 1 and 3/4 cup of sugar, 4 large eggs (room temperature), 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract, and 1 cup of buttermilk (room temperature).
