This classic white cake recipe is the perfect way to create a light and fluffy dessert with minimal effort. With a few simple ingredients and a few easy steps, you can whip up a delicious and satisfying cake in no time.
To start, gather the following ingredients: 2 ½ cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, ½ teaspoon of baking soda, ¾ cup of butter, 2 cups of granulated sugar, 4 large eggs, 1 cup of whole milk, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Set aside.
