2 tablespoons of cooking oil
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 pound of ground beef
2 tablespoons of tomato paste
1 cup of diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon of paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
1. Heat the cooking oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add the onion and garlic and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened.
3. Add the ground beef and cook for about 8 minutes, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
4. Add the tomato paste, diced tomatoes, sugar, oregano, paprika, salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
5. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened.
